  • Wording Examples
    A few things to remember while you’re writing your wedding invitation:
  • Use full names, not nicknames.
  • Don’t abbreviate the dates, times, and addresses
  • Use Courtesy titles where appropriate (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss).

    Ceremony Programs
    Typically programs include these elements:
  • Cover: Includes the date and/or the names of the couple. It may also include the location and time of the ceremony, a picture, or design element.
  • Order of Events: in the order in which they will occur, including music, readings, prayers, exchange of vows, ring ceremony, pronouncement of marriage, etc.
  • Members of the wedding party: and other participants including Officiant, Parents, Ushers, Readers, Musicians, etc.
  • Closing Remarks: including thank you's, poems or quotes, specific instructions to attendants, etc.
